Monero v7, first light …

Just a quick heads-up, because so many of you are curious on support for the v7 hard-fork: it’s now Sunday morning, 12:37 am, and I finally finished getting a first implementation of this Monero v7 variant working…. and at least according to killallasics.moneroworld.com the generated hashes are actually correct.

I’ll still have a ways to go in cleaning up the code, fixing the opencl code, doing some more burn-in testing, and in particular allowing command-line switching between old and new protocol (currently it’s compile-time)…. but at least the lion’s share is done. So bottom line: Everything looking good for the hard fork in at the end of March ;-).

With that – happy mining!
